We are pleased to present the collection of jewelry designer Judith Murat whose magnificent jewelry graces the New York and Palm Beach social scene on a regular basis and recently debuted in Beverly Hills.

Murat is a notable artist of our decade whose work is both profound and symbolic. Her jewelry reflects the beauty found in nature; from a twisted 18k gold vine necklace sprouting white diamonds to a gold tendrilled, 90ct. aquamarine pendant draped from a necklace of gold coral. Like the artist, her collection is high-style drama at its best and rarely seen, except on the red carpet.

Judith Murat is well known in the Palm Beaches and Hamptons as a jewelry designer, portrait artist, philanthropist and mother of five. In her youth she worked as a top model in New York and appeared on the covers of fashion magazines nationwide.


continue... She was often compared to Audrey Hepburn. Yet, with all her success she left the business to study classical art at the Chicago Institute of Art and furthered her studies at the New York Art Students’ League and the Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Early in her career she received awards and public accolades as a portrait artist and sculptress. Her first show was with Jimmy Barker in Palm Beach. This became a yearly venue in which to exhibit her work until one afternoon she met a jewelry manufacturer who was admiring her paintings. Their conversation would forever change her life as she switched from oils on canvas to precious gems on 18k gold. Within a year her jewelry collection was presented by Saks Fifth Avenue to the Palm Beach market.

In 1999 she achieved her most gratifying success by establishing Judith Murat Fine Jewelry from her atelier in Palm Beach. Murat remarked that as soon as a piece was finished it was sold and that she could barely keep up with the demand, especially in a town known for its charity balls and highbrow soirees where jewelry makes the gown.

As Murat’s list of black tie patrons grew on the East coast, she continued to expand her collection to include men’s accessories; cufflinks, studs and lapel pins.

In 2006 the Judith Murat Fine Jewelry collection debuted on the West Coast. Murat’s jaw-dropping jewels were paraded down the red carpet at the 2007 Golden Globes and her jewelry was featured on Inside Edition and Entertainment Tonight. It is the stuff of the stars, indeed!

Currently Murat divides her time between Palm Beach, New York and Beverly Hills adorning celebrities, jet setters and connesseurs of magnificent jewelry. But Murat, the artist, continues exploring new designs and recently released her garden themed collection. Most notable is the

“The Garden Prince” which features an 18k gold vine necklace in full bloom, budding with diamonds and gems. Splayed centerpoint is a bejeweled 18k golden frog–the Garden Prince.
